AFC Hurricane's Express Courier

We are extremely pleased with the results of the four litters we have had out of Courier and Splash.  The owners of pups from these litters are very happy and we sure are pleased with Storm who is out of the first litter. Many of those pups are doing extremely well in hunt tests and field trials around the country. Several out of this breeding have various titles including one that is only one pass away from Master Hunter and has placed in several field trials. When we bred the first litter we wanted to find a match to Splash’s genetics and phenotypic characteristics.  We were fortunate to find just what we were looking for in John Ackerman’s AFC Hurricane Express Courier.  Courier is out of a Dual CH & AFC Gambler’s Dilwyn-Stacked Deck MH   X   CH The Hurricane MH breeding.  Decks stands on his own reputation and performance and The Hurricane is a daughter of CH AFC Caroway’s Wild Goose Chase. 
Courier is as great as his pedigree!  He is an 85 lbs of a dark brown package of muscle.  He matches Splash’s muscular rear legs and adds his deep broad chest to the mixture as well.  John says Courier has amazing memory and is the best marking dog he has ever worked with.  On top of that, he is quite the friendly gentleman as well.  When I took my boys up to meet Courier, he attacked them with kisses.  Courier spent a Thanksgiving weekend with us a few years ago and you couldn't ask for a more personable dog.

Courier’s accomplishment in Field Trials is amazing.  He Qualified All Age at 28 months and he also qualified for the National Amateur Field Trial last June where he made it through the 5th series.  He accumulated enough points this past spring to achieve his Amateur Field Champion title and he is only 1.5 points away from the Field Champion title. 

 

We are pleased that we can continue these excellent genetics through breeding Storm and we look forward to watching her puppies continue the tradition of Cold Creek Chesapeake Pups!
