All our breeding stock is checked and certified to be free of genetically inherited hip and eye disease.  We will not breed any dog that can not get an OFA number or preliminary hip radiograph that shows sign of hip displaysia.  We will not breed any dog that can not get a CERF certification showing no signs of inherited eye disorders.

The general health of all puppies purchased is guaranteed for a period of two weeks after delivery of the dog.  This does not include any accidents or negligence on the part of the purchaser that may affect the puppy during this time period.  We encourage you to have your puppy checked over by your vet during that two week period.

 It will also be guaranteed that the dog upon reaching its second birthday will be capable of receiving an OFA certification.  This warranty expires when the pup is 28 months of age.  The owner has a four month period to have the pup x-rayed and the x-ray evaluated by the OFA.  No dog will be replaced without an evaluation by OFA or Penn Hip.  Also, we will not guarantee the hips if the dog is bred before it reaches its second birthday.  All warranties are forfeited if the dog is bred before its second birthday.  

 We will guarantee that the pup will be capable of receiving a CERF certification at one year of age.  This warranty expires at 18 months of age.  

Temperament is not warranted for any pup.  There is too much environmental influence in which a dog is raised that can affect a dog’s temperament.  We have no control over how a dog is raised; therefore, we can not guarantee temperament.  However, keep in mind that our dogs are also members of our family and live in the house with us.  We have three children who are eight, six, and three years of age, so temperament is of extreme importance to us.  We would tolerate nothing less than good family members from our dogs.

There are no other guarantees or warranties implied or intended unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties. Guarantees are NOT transferable to a second party or owner.  Dogs being returned for replacement or refund must be received in good shape with all transportation expenses paid by the customer.  The replacement puppy will be of equal value and shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.  If a replacement pup is not available due to the breeder's limited number of breedings, then a refund will be issued.  The defective puppy does not remain with original owner unless the owner proves that pup has been spayed or neutered.  If the owner of the defective pup decides to keep the pup then, upon proof of the pup being spayed or neutered, a refund of half the purchase cost of the pup will be issued.

Pups are always well socialized (born inside and handled by three small children), introduced to gun fire, water (if possible), and wing clipped pigeons.    Pups are $1000 with a $100 non-refundable deposit. The remainder of the balance will be due seven days before the delivery of the pup.

Shipping
Shipping pups is not a problem.  If necessary, pups will be shipped out of the Columbus, Ohio airport with the buyer paying all shipping costs seven days in advance in addition to the balance of your pup.  Delta Dash will be the most probable airline.  We will contact you 2-3 days before shipping with the details.  You will be charged an additional $40 for a crate, in addition to the flight charges, which you will get to keep for the pup.
